Complicated. /Very/ complicated.
The house seemed smaller to him now.
He was taller, he supposed. He took up more space in it. But everything still just seemed too much smaller for the change he had gone through. He sat on the couch, shifting about for a comfortable position, finding none, and blaming it on the universe. As usual.
Of course—he had to realize after a very long hour of tossing and turning, the book he was trying to read completely forgotten, he understood the reason for his restlessness.
Zorc’s command still hung in his mind.
He sighed, turning limp in his seat, and leaning his head back. He thought of Dartz in the room nearby, and his stomach turned. He knew the safest route he could go for this, and he did not like it one bit. Everything in this was dangerous, but this in particular…
Bakura pinched the bridge of his nose. His friend should have never been dragged into this in the first place, but there he was. And he would have to help Bakura the best that he could while he was.
Hesitantly, he rapped on the former Atlantis King’s bedroom door.
